At the Hearth of Mercy: A St. Brigid Retreat for Renewal
With Robin Garner
February 4, 2026
Join us for a gentle, restorative retreat in honor of St. Brigid of Kildare—saint of hospitality, healing, poetry, protection, and the hearth. Often called “the keeper of the flame,” Brigid’s life reminds us of the sacred spark within each of us and the call to tend it with care and compassion.
During this reflective day, we will step into the wisdom of Brigid’s Celtic spirit through prayer, storytelling, guided reflection, and spacious quiet. Together, we’ll explore:
-
Hospitality of the heart—the places within us longing for welcome, compassion, and gentleness
-
Healing and restoration—where God’s mercy meets our weariness
-
Creativity and imagination—the sparks waiting to be breathed into life
-
Courage and protection—Brigid’s fierce devotion to justice and peace
There will be time to walk our beautiful grounds, to sit in silence by the stillness of nature, and to let the flame of Brigid’s legacy warm what has grown cold or dim within us.
- Check in at the Well House when you arrive.
- Bring a journal, pen, water bottle and wear weather appropriate clothing.
- Lunch will be provided.
