From Courage to Serenity: A Contemplative Journey of Deep Listening & Personal Growth
This retreat is for those who are contemplating new beginnings but need a gentle nudge on how to move forward. We invite you into sacred space—away from the noise of daily life and into a deeper listening of the soul.
This 4-day, 3-night retreat unfolds through five spiritual movements, each offering space for quiet reflection.
Open the Heart: Through Courage, Trust, and Wonder
We begin by softening our empty places and crossing the threshold of new beginnings with Courage. Trust in the Sacred process is restored, and Wonder about the possibilities begins to emerge.
Enter the Depths: Through Grief, Forgive, and Heal
Laying a good foundation for our garden; Grief is honored, we begin to Forgive with compassion, and open ourselves to Heal, preparing for new growth.
Rest in the Quiet: Through Stillness, Solitude, and Clarity
As outer noises fade, the inner voice has space to emerge. Planting seeds in the soil of Silence and Solitude, we quiet the mind as the transformation of Clarity begins to germinate.
Nourish While Waiting: Through Listen and Hope
Gardens require patience and nourishment. We’ll take time to nourish our own growth as we Listen to the still small voice inside as the rain quiches our spirit. And find Hope in the sunshine, trusting growth is taking shape beneath the surface.
Enjoy the Beauty: Through Gratitude, Wisdom, and Serenity
As our garden begins to sprout we find that Gratitude grounds us in the process, Wisdom is revealed, and Serenity invites us to rest in the beauty of our new garden.
All who seek time apart to gain peace from within are welcome. Guided group sessions are interwoven with individual time for restorative napping, meditating the prayer stations, journaling, and time in nature. All practices are invitational.
